❂••Orígenes••❂ is inspired by universal Indigenous values. First Nations around the world have resisted invasion and day by day are continuously working to protect their unique languages, practices and other unique expressions of culture.
This collection starts from a vision to see more unity among Indigenous peoples; to have greater channels for sharing and learning from each other's bravery and strengths.
In our first series we are working with references from three different cultural origins from Bolivia, Africa and New Zealand (Māori) regions.
We aim to continue to distinguish the artisanship skills of our Embera Chami makers, while also honouring connections to other ancient cultures.
