Beading is an ancient tradition practiced by the Indigenous people of Colombia, passed down from generation to generation. Each piece is full of symbolism and reflective of the natural environment where the Embera people live, such as fauna, flora, geometrical patterns and colour combinations. 
Through their art they share their beautiful vibrant and colourful culture with the world.
